Jessica Rabbit Costumes

JESSICA RABBIT COSTUMES

Jessica Rabbit is Roger Rabbit’s human buxom wife in the popular film and book, ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit?’ In the book, she was an immoral, up-and-coming star and former comic character, over whom her estranged husband, Roger Rabbit, is obsessed. She is re-imagined in the film as a sultry but moral cartoon singer at a Los Angeles club called The Ink and Paint Club. She is one of several suspects in the framing of her husband, who is a famous cartoon star.
Jessica’s character was primarily based on the cartoon character, Red, of Avery’s Red Hot Riding Hood. Jessica is one of the most famous sex symbols of the animated screen. She claims to Eddie Valiant, “I’m not bad, I’m just drawn that way,” which has become a popular quote. She deeply loves her husband Roger, claiming that he makes her laugh. Jessica is a hugely popular cartoon character, and her famous red dress, make up style and hair are easily imitated! Pair bright red lips, a red wig and sky high red heels with long purple satin gloves and a floor-length red dress with a thigh-high split!
